For those of you paying really close attention to how Poe's room is laid out, erm, don't. For all the others who didn't understand that, great! The link dump is working very nicely, but I'm still gonna highlight some stuff. The first is the genius comic The Perry Bible Fellowship, which in fact has very little to do with the Bible, religion, etc. (otherwise I'm missing out on something great). You know what does though? Spider-Man. The second is Bunny, a great daily doodle/comic dealie that you can tear through in about half an hour (faster if your connection isn't absurdly slow). The comics have been getting smaller recently, which is really nice because I pump them out much faster than before. Still can't do anything about that school thing that happens between weekends (and inevitably spills over), bah. Y'all. - Update - Later the same day but not really Apparently Drew is busy graduating or something, the lazy bum. This means, especially with one comic out of the way, this is the first weekend in forever that I've been able to spend large chunks of time drawing random junk. So, here's some junk while I get started. There will hopefully be more by the end of the weekend, but who knows, maybe I'll crack and end up freaking about work early tomorrow. Bah. Still can't do fire. Oh right, if you haven't checked out Nintendopella yet, go forth and listen. I keep meaning to link them in the main rant, especially as my roommate is in them (his name is Kyle), and is apparently becoming a cult celebrity in Germany. Weird... - Update - And again One more speedy. Some semblance of texture would be nice occassionally. |

Ah Patriot's day. The day that is not a federal or state holiday, but a holiday in the city of Boston, only. Today, the city shuts down so 20,000 people can run around, and someone can win some medal. It also gives me another day to panic about not having my C# project or my Mikado paper done. |

Every strip is inspiringly beautiful and bursting with imagination, but beyond that, they consistently resonate with profundity without screaming "Look at ME, aren't I profound!?" I tried to write a lot more corny praise, but just go read all of them instead, you won't be sorry. I was hoping to wait for Kazu Kibuishi to get back to it so I could scream about its return, but it's been quite a while already, so I'll just link it again once that happens. |
