This is sort of a joke about art forums I hang out in. I mainly stay around polykarbon (beware of popups, they slip in and out of adequate funding), which draws a lot of new artists. There're tons of pictures like "chick with guns" or "guy with a big sword" floating around, so I though I'd take them and combine it with another sort of cliché. The "sad girl in snow" is more or less a Megatokyo idea, or more specifically, a Mac Hall idea poking fun at Megatokyo. Anyway, I'm more or less pleased with the results. I realized that I should've used a younger or "fuzzier" looking girl for the first pic, it might have made more sense. But whatever, I still like it. |
